    • Culverts (Matt Welleck) - Kirsten contacted CCLF and the culverts do not belong to them.

Stakeholder & First Nations Engagement (Kirsten & Theresa/Jennifer)

  • RSTBC Section 57 – Front Counter/RSTBC Approval Update - Tom Blackbird and Dan were contacted about status of applications, no response received to date

  • BCORMA - website update - AGM scheduled for March 13, no agenda or virtual link issued as of yet. Need to return unsold decals at the end of year. Monthly payments to be made back to the FVDRA and other clubs

  • Yale First Nation - relationship update - Nothing to report, meeting still to be set

  • Barrick - no updates

Membership Report (Margaret & Ann)

  • Individual Memberships YTD - 36

  • Family Membership YTD - 24

  • Total Members YTD -  12

  • Waiver administration status - 3 pending waivers

  • No BCORMA memberships sold to date 

  • When weather gets better looking to put out another call for memberships;

Communications 

  • Facebook Group Discussion

    • Public versus Private - based on information provided and the definitions of public vs private the FVDRA Facebook group will remain public for now. 

    • The Facebook page is for advertising and marketing of clubs activities

Finance Report (Theresa)

  • P&L Update - $6,366.75 Profit (approximately half is remaining grant dollars remaining to be spent)

  • Balance Sheet update - $22,427

Trail Maintenance & Planning (Kelly)

  • Trail Maintenance - 2024 plans and maintenance day structure - Schedule for April 20th, 2024

  • Trail Restoration - 2024 plans - Update to be provided next meeting - snow still blocking access

Grounds Maintenance (Kirsten)

  • Learner Loop - No update

  • Nickelmine Campground/Outhouses - No update

  • Pit Pass Campground/Outhouse - No update

  • Staging Area - No update

Grant Applications (Kirsten)

  • Cascade Lower Canyon Community Forest (CLCCF)

    • Grant application update - half of the grant has been spent to date

Events & Races

  • 24-Hour race planning update (Sarah & Tim)

    • Advertising on Facebook - sign up materials have gone out on Facebook

    • Participant confirmation - minimal payments received to date, more to come shortly

    • Volunteer status - Nicole has signed up for concession duty, $500 has been allocated for the budget 

    • Band Funding -  A band is being contracted for privately and funded privately.  A request was submitted to FVDRA to consider including an option on the FVDRA.com/membership page to include an option for donations to the band.  The funds will be collected by the club on behalf of the private entities and distributed to them, if and when received.

    • Race and Lottery Loop Status - Tim Dyck to visit on Sunday, Mar. 17th and assess trail conditions

    • No updates on applications to get over 100 riders; Tim to follow up

  • Orientation Rides (Kirsten)

    • Proposal for 2024 – date, budget, structure - No update

New Business

  • Round Table

  • Growing transient population in Riding Area - a letter will be drafted and sent to FVRD - Electoral Area B - Director Peter Adamo. A second letter will be drafted and sent to Barrick. A third letter to be drafted and sent to Yale First Nations; Kirsten to draft and send letters.
